Povzetek: Članek predstavlja analizo prodora vode v beton s pomočjo numeričnega modela, ki temelji na posplošeni formulaciji masnih in toplotnih pretokov v poroznih materialih. Na podlagi izvršene parametrične analize in dobljenih profilov vsebnosti vode lahko pripravimo preprost način za določevanje permeabilnosti betona, ki je ena najvažnejših materialnih lastnosti za oceno trajnosti in odpornosti betona.

The paper presents a numerical model based on a generalized mathematical formulations of mass and heat transfer in porous media, which allows to determine spatial water content distributions and their changes with time. Different values of properties, and in particular permeability, can be tested with arbitrary boundary conditions. In the present work, a sensivity study of saturation to permeability is conducted for a concrete wall exposed to water ingress at its base. The model may prove to be a simple tool for on-site first assessment of concrete permeability by correlating saturation distributions obtained numerically and levels of wetness evaluated by visual inspection.
